I have studied teaching the past few years although art will always be my passion. Recently I have been neglecting my art because I feel inspired but never really motivated. I tell myself I need to get up and do a painting or a drawing but I keep putting it off. Im not entirely sure why either. Then today I had a realization that it doesnt have to be one or the other. I can be an artist and a teacher. I was subbing for a reading specialist today when I realized that one way to combine the two things I love is to write and illustrate children's books. I was just sitting here thinking about commenting. Why is it that some people get so many comments about their art and yet others don't. Has this website turned into facebook. You only comment on your friends art work. I urge everybody just spend some time. Go through the website and look at artwork that isnt done by ur best friend you just might find a better artist hidden where you never thought to look. Now please dont think this is a rant from someone who's angry for being ignored. Its not about that i dont really care if anyone likes my work because i do for myself. If you do love my work thank you so much but if you don't im not really
